Which iPhones is Folicle compatible with?
Folicle requires iOS 16 or later. That covers iPhone 8 and every model released since. The app is optimized for the Pro camera modules on iPhone 12 Pro and newer, but works on all supported models.
Does Folicle use HealthKit or store data in iCloud?
Photos are private to your account: encrypted in transit (TLS) and stored in Supabase Storage with row-level security so only your account can read them. We do not write to HealthKit, do not sell your data, and analysis runs via Google Gemini as our sub-processor under their zero-retention API policy.
Is there a Folicle iOS App Store page yet?
The iOS app is in pre-launch. Join the waitlist and we will send you a TestFlight invite when your slot opens, and an App Store link the day we ship.
How is the iPhone version different from Android?
Same data model, same Hair Score, same treatment log. The iOS build is a native iPhone app with system camera integration. Hair Score analysis happens server-side, so both apps return identical scores regardless of phone hardware.
