Built for iOS

Native frameworks. No web wrapper. No compromises.

Apple Neural Engine

Hair Score runs on-device on A12 Bionic and newer. No cloud round-trip, no upload, no waiting.

PhotoKit alignment

Frame-to-frame alignment uses native depth maps and exposure metadata for sub-pixel registration.

Encrypted storage

Photos and treatment logs encrypted at rest with the Secure Enclave. Optional encrypted iCloud backup.

Face ID lock

Open the app, see your progress. Lock it behind Face ID with one tap if you share your phone.

Live Activities

Weekly capture session appears on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island. No notification spam.

Shortcuts integration

Run “Weekly Folicle Capture” from Siri, the Action Button, or a Focus automation.

iOS questions, plainly answered.

Which iPhones is Folicle compatible with?
Folicle requires iOS 16 or later. That covers iPhone 8 and every model released since. The app is optimized for the Pro camera modules on iPhone 12 Pro and newer, but works on all supported models.
Does Folicle use HealthKit or store data in iCloud?
Photos are encrypted on-device by default. You can opt into encrypted iCloud backup, but nothing leaves your phone in plaintext. We do not write to HealthKit and do not share data with third parties.
Is there a Folicle iOS App Store page yet?
The iOS app is in pre-launch. Join the waitlist and we will send you a TestFlight invite when your slot opens, and an App Store link the day we ship.
How is the iPhone version different from Android?
Same data model, same Hair Score, same treatment log. The iOS build uses native PhotoKit alignment and the Apple Neural Engine for on-device scoring. Both apps stay in sync if you switch phones.
