Built for Android

Built for Android. Calm UI. Honest scoring.

Cloud Hair Score

Hair Score analysis runs in our backend via Google Gemini as a sub-processor under their zero-retention policy. Photos travel TLS-encrypted; we never sell.

Android camera integration

Native camera capture with on-screen alignment guides so every weekly angle matches your reference framing.

Account-private storage

Photos live in Supabase Storage protected by row-level security. TLS in transit, RLS at rest — only your account can read them.

Calm, warm UI

Soft cream palette designed for the months-long lag of real hair growth. No anxiety-inducing red alerts, no streak guilt.

Quick weekly check-in

A five-angle session takes about 90 seconds end-to-end. No streak guilt if you skip a week.

Dermatologist-ready export

One-tap PDF export of your zones, Hair Score trend, and treatment log — sized for a clinical consult.

Hair growth app Android users can actually keep using.

If you search for a hair growth app Android, you usually find habit trackers, photo vaults, or generic wellness apps. Folicle is narrower: it is a hair loss tracker app for Android built around repeatable scalp photos, minoxidil tracking, treatment notes, shedding context, and month-by-month progress reviews.

It still does not diagnose hair loss or prescribe treatment. The Android app helps you keep the evidence clean: same photo zones, short notes, and a timeline you can bring to a dermatologist.

Android questions, plainly answered.

Which Android phones are supported?
Folicle requires Android 8.0 Oreo (API 26) or later. That covers the vast majority of Pixel, Samsung Galaxy, OnePlus, Xiaomi, and Motorola devices in active use. We test against current Pixel, Galaxy S, and OnePlus reference devices each release.
Does it require a Pixel or Samsung flagship for the Hair Score?
No. Hair Score analysis runs server-side via Google Gemini as our sub-processor, so the score is identical regardless of phone hardware — and identical between iOS and Android.
Is there a Google Play page yet?
The Android app is in pre-launch. Join the waitlist and we will send you a Play Store internal-testing invite when your slot opens, and a public Play Store link the day we ship.
Can I switch between iOS and Android without losing my history?
Yes. Both apps share the same data model. Sign in with the same account and your sessions, photos, treatments, and Hair Score history follow you — they live in Supabase Storage protected by row-level security, scoped to your account.
